I grew up in Cheektowaga, NY (Buffalo). When I retired from the Army, I settled in Huntsville, AL. I was in Germany for 12 years and loved it there. I definitely hope to be able to travel back someday. My family is Italian. We all spoke Italian at home until we went to school and my parents realized my sister couldn?t speak English, at all. After that, we all started speaking English at home, exclusively. In the process, we ended up speaking our own family mix of Italian and English. I am definitely a people person and I do love to talk, so that didn?t stop me a bit. In the area where I grew up, neighborhoods were divided by nationality, and if you lived there, you learned to communicate with people who were very different from you and whose English wasn?t that great either. Despite growing up in the US of A, Italian is my native language. English is my best foreign language though. I got a friend to help me on the profile, sometimes the typing in English thing is rough, so give me a break on the grammar grade, please. I?m good at other things.8.8.0, 3, 3, ./4"6

I work in the computer industry and I run my own computer company as well. Despite that, I am not a chained to the computer all day geek type. I am most definitely a people person and I just as definitely live my life on the physical side. I work out almost everyday, and I eat right. Muscle tone? I got it, and I?ll show you in a heartbeat, but you better believe I?m gonna check yours out, too. Muscle tone that is. You will not find me sitting around watching sports on TV. So why am I here? I?m just plain tired of being alone. Daytime hours it's not so bad, but it's the quiet nights alone that sting. At the end of the day I want to be able to sit across the table and see that special someone smiling back at me, a nice glass of wine, moonlight walks holding the hand of a beautiful woman. That?s what I want. At the end of the day, I want that special someone there with me and for me, to share life: our innermost thoughts, our dreams, the good times, and the bad.
First dates are for getting to know each other. I like to talk? Hey, I?m a New York Italian? Is it true what they say? Naw? Well? We?ll talk first on the phone and then we?ll meet somewhere for coffee or something and then we?ll talk some more. Maybe after that, we?ll head over to my place, don?t get me wrong. I?m a perfect gentleman. Usually. Anyway, I?ll be good. I promise. I?m just more comfortable on my home turf and I really do like to be able to kick off my shoes, get comfortable and take time to talk and get to know each other.
