| I Would Describe Myself As | After some urging from friends I have decided to look elsewhere than my morning coffee group and the sports club where I work, even out of the state, to hopefully meet someone who fits my lifestyle better. To make a long story short I have had good relationships in the past, but.... it seems I have settled each time for a partner that is not interested in the same things I am. That makes it hard to be anything other than friends, I believe. Because I have been in the fitness/health industry for over 30 years and have always practiced what I preach, I really need to be around like minded people. It's hard to calm my passions. Besides fitness training, and nutrition counseling, I am also a massage therapist and am going back to nursing school. I have a wonderful group of friends, and seem to be enjoying life so much more as I get older. Trail running, (now snow running), cycling, cooking healthy gourmet foods, traveling, reading, and I guess playing ALOT.... sometimes acting very immature :) .... are just some of things that I love doing. I can be pretty serious in my activities, yet really enjoy myself most of the time. Being able to laugh about it all afterwards is what makes it more fun. I suppose relaxing at the end of the day after a hard workout of some kind... with a good glass of wine ... and being around people that know THAT feeling... is what I'm looking for. |
